Mel's work has revolutionized a new approach that assists people in transcending their struggles with disorders such as anxiety and depression, without requiring medication or lengthy traditional psychotherapy.

Mel Schwartz is the author of the acclaimed book The Art of Intimacy, The Pleasure of Passion (now in its ninth year of print as a hardcover). He has pioneered a unique model toward relationship success, using the concepts of quantum mechanics and chaos theory among others.

Mel has authored over 70 articles and writes a blog entitled A Shift of Mind which can be read here and on PsychologyToday.com.

Mel is the creator of The Emergent Thinking® Process, his landmark approach to self-empowerment. He is the founder of the Emergent Thinking® Groups and also teaches this process internationally. He is currently writing the book A Shift of Mind: Reframing the Way we Think..

Mel, LCSW Mphil, PhD(candidate), earned his graduate degree from Columbia University and has been a keynote speaker at Yale University. He has appeared on numerous television and radio shows and been interviewed by many publications.
